Key aspects of our yoga & naturopathy service
Complete practice of Patanjali's eight limbs of yoga — from Yama-Niyama (ethics) through Asana, Pranayama, to Dhyana (meditation) and Samadhi.
Guided breathing practices including Kapalbhati, Anulom Vilom, Bhastrika, Bhramari, and Ujjayi for respiratory health and mental clarity.
Natural healing through diet therapy, herbal remedies, Panchakarma detox, and lifestyle modifications based on your Prakriti (body constitution).
Deep relaxation through guided meditation, Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep), and mindfulness practices for stress relief and mental wellness.
Yoga is not just about physical postures. As defined by Maharishi Patanjali, yoga is "Chitta Vritti Nirodha" — the cessation of mental fluctuations. Our program follows the complete Ashtanga (eight-limbed) path: Yama (ethical restraints), Niyama (personal observances), Asana (physical postures), Pranayama (breath control), Pratyahara (sense withdrawal), Dharana (concentration), Dhyana (meditation), and Samadhi (absorption). This holistic approach brings transformation at physical, mental, and spiritual levels.
Our naturopathy program integrates Ayurvedic principles with modern understanding. We begin with Prakriti analysis (determining your body constitution — Vata, Pitta, or Kapha) and create personalized wellness plans. Services include dietary guidance based on your dosha, herbal remedies using traditional formulations, lifestyle modifications for common ailments like diabetes, hypertension, and arthritis, detoxification programs, and stress management techniques. All treatments use natural methods without harmful chemicals or side effects.
True to Bhaktyoday's spirit of service, all yoga and naturopathy programs are offered completely FREE to the community. We believe that health is a fundamental right, not a luxury. Our programs specifically focus on daily morning yoga sessions open to all ages, specialized programs for senior citizens and women, free Ayurvedic consultations for serious diseases, community health camps in rural areas, and training local volunteers to spread wellness education. This initiative embodies the foundation's core philosophy — "Parahit Seva se badhkar nij swarth nahi ho sakta" (There is no self-interest greater than serving others).
