Authentic and pure Tulsi (Holy Basil) wood mala, considered most sacred for Vaishnavite worship. Wearing Tulsi mala purifies the mind, protects from negative energies, and brings one closer to Lord Vishnu.
A Tulsi Mala is a sacred necklace or prayer beads made from the wood of the Tulsi (Holy Basil) plant, known botanically as Ocimum tenuiflorum. In Hindu tradition, Tulsi is considered the most sacred plant, believed to be the earthly manifestation of Goddess Vrinda Devi (also known as Tulsi Devi), a great devotee of Lord Vishnu. The Tulsi plant is worshipped daily in millions of Hindu households, and wearing a Tulsi Mala is considered one of the most auspicious acts in Vaishnavite tradition.
According to the Padma Purana and Skanda Purana, Lord Vishnu declared that He does not accept any offering without Tulsi leaves. The Tulsi Mala is therefore considered the most beloved adornment to Lord Vishnu, Krishna, and Rama. Wearing it signifies one's devotion and surrender to the Lord. The Garuda Purana states that Yamadutas (messengers of death) stay away from those who wear Tulsi beads, and Vishnudutas protect such devotees. It is said that the mere sight of a Tulsi Mala brings spiritual merit.
Beyond its profound spiritual significance, Tulsi wood carries remarkable health benefits. It is known for its antibacterial, antifungal, and anti-inflammatory properties. Wearing a Tulsi Mala close to the skin is believed to regulate blood pressure, reduce stress and anxiety, and strengthen immunity. Spiritually, it purifies the mind and body, removes negative energies, enhances devotion (Bhakti), and creates a protective aura around the wearer. It is especially powerful for chanting the Hare Krishna Maha Mantra and Vishnu Sahasranama.
We offer authentic Tulsi Malas made from mature Tulsi wood, carefully harvested from sacred Tulsi plants with proper Vedic rituals. Each mala is hand-crafted with 108 beads and one Guru bead, strung on a durable thread. The beads are smoothly polished to provide a comfortable wearing experience. Available in various bead sizes — from 6mm for daily wear to 10mm for japa meditation. Each mala is blessed by our Acharya Ji before being offered to devotees.
Wear the Tulsi Mala around your neck with faith and devotion. It should not be removed unnecessarily. Remove it before bathing (water can damage the wood over time) and during sleep if uncomfortable. Do not wear it in impure places. If the thread breaks, restring the beads promptly — do not discard Tulsi beads; they can be immersed in a sacred river. Over time, the mala will develop a beautiful dark patina from regular use, which is considered spiritually auspicious.
